Powernet IT Solutions and Evolve IT Australia combine 50 years of experience, clients and capabilities to create a new powerhouse for IT managed and professional services in Australia and New Zealand
Powernet IT Solutions (Powernet) established by Jacob Ohlson in 1994, and Evolve IT Australia (Evolve IT) established by Nick Moran in 1993, today announced that the two managed and professional service providers have merged, effective immediately.
The merged entity will create a multi-national SMB and mid-market service provider with a team of 90+ people, working from 6 offices located across Australia and New Zealand, and will continue to service clients with a strong focus on the transport, NFP/charity, retail and wellness industries. Current Powernet CEO Daniel Williams will lead the combined business, with current Evolve IT Australia Managing Director Nick Moran to head up key partnerships and alliances. No decision has been made at this stage regarding the combined entity’s future branding and it is “business as usual” whilst the integration is staged and completed over the coming months.
